Hi all,
I have a ex fleet 2010 SY mk2 Territory. It has the lights on feature. I want to disconnect it so I can put some HIDs in the car. I have done a search and found a few threads which say disconnect the unit under the dash. Now I have had a good look under there and cannot see it. Can anyone tell me exactly where it is or what fuse I need to disconnect? A pic would be great! If not do I need to take it to ford? Cant see that being cheap. Thanks guys! |

For all of you who want to deactivate the Headlights On feature:
Remove the fusebox cover (the one inside the cabin, not in the engine bay), you'll notice a Brown wiring loom connector that goes into the fusebox on the front right lower corner (the insulation on this loom is yellow), you'll see a couple of wires on this loom that are going to be piggybacked, it'll be obvious because it's not part of the factory wiring and they normally use those Scoth Lock clips or something similar. These wires power up the headlights on module, just disconnect them and your headlights operation will be back to normal. Copied from another website Hope it helps.
