just bought myself a BF XR6 Turbo box intake (twin snorkels) for my BA Xr6

i believe these are better than the SS inductions you pay over $300 for since the additional snorkel does not pass over the radiator thus heating the snorkel....also alows more intake

anyway i just want to know if anyone has used this system? and did i waste $170 ??? :? Why isnt there a demand for these if it allows more intake than the SS induction systems?

havent fitted it on yet as it is currently being delivered. And i cant test drive my car anyway! See what its like loosing your license? you get sooo bored and you start buying crap

well i've been advised by others to get what you got. Supposed to be the best intake you would use on the BA so i'd say you havent wasted your money at all. I know what u mean by bored. My mate whose lost his licence wont stop calling me..."hey man, wanna blow a shcoob". I'm like a taxi.

Not these ones, but you can fit the XR8 snorkel to the 6 cyl.

Wonder what it is like compared to the APS one. It only has a duct from behind the head light, but its heaps bigger.

be intersting to see the power increase of yours over the SS. The SS intake has a proven 14rwkw increase.

This intake is simply the best mod u can do to a BA 6. On an na 6 it gained 8rwkw. The SS is just pathetic because it doesn't make use of the high pressure area behind the headlight and it costs just over double. I have this on mine and it feels great, more power, better throttle response and a nice intake sound. Combined with the edit it goes like stonk

This is what the APS intake looks like (if you can make it out!)
