I heard they fit, maybe a bit smaller as I tried one in the XF. but you have to blank off the recovery tank hole in the middle.

I tried to put them in but the fans were too big for the radiator, so I installed an EF-EL radiator but to do that I had to change the mounts a bit and you have to block the small pipe in the middle on the drivers side.

The xg has a smaller radiator then e-series falcon but not sure by how much...

As to the use of an EF/EL radiator, I couldn't see why it would not be possible? The mounts at the bottom of the radiator are the same on the XG, XH. EF/EL, ED.

I moved only the Passenger side mounts as the bottom mount supports the tank I moved it further out then welded the top to suit as its 60-80mm or so wider very easy 10-15 min once the radiator is out

You would need to weld in a EF or EL radiator support panel, and the you might aswell convert to a XH front. Ash Cook did this with his XF ute.

Why Weld that in you just move the standard top bracket over?

Why not? You can convert an ugly looking car into a nicer looking one Sorry if you think its overkill Im going on what another member has done.

The bits you need to do that are rare and cost a lot if you can find them.

I suppose it really depends on the person then. make a decision on weather you want to spend time looking for the parts etc. But its not like XH ute where a limited model. there should be heaps of panels out there. If you where looking for a XH XR front bar I would agree with you on it being rare but thye made 10's of 1000's oh XH utes
