The stock BA TB works as usual, but at 3850RPM the 2nd throttle body (from an AU) snaps open, and the engine goes for it. Noticable increase untuned. The system is linked to a voltage switch hooked into the TPS, and only works after 90% throttle. A 2nd vacuum pump is there for the AU throttle body vacuum actuator, and the pump is powered via piggy back 12V from the stock manifold vacuum pump. So the 2nd TB opens when the manifold short runners close.

A little bit tricky, but it raises eyebrows and it most definately works. Best thing is having a two tone induction noise. 1 from 1000-3850, and Stereo induction from 3850+ =)

168rwkw, but that wasn't with the twin intakes working at the time.

was only testing my mechanic mates exhaust system, so the ute wasn't prepared or trying for peak power, but an ok result either way. This exact system has previously been tuned on another ute to a gain of 11rwkw by Spiro at autotek.

I second both of those statements... Would also appreciate a complete tech doco on the VCT install as would give me something to aim for. If I ever got that setup in the front of my EF, I'd actually be happy enough to start spending some time with the missus and kids.

It was a colaboration between AAA Exhausts, who done the main shape of it & Exhaust Technology who got it to fit right.
AAA have a template made up for the saloon cars so only charged $75.
But was a bit more $$ to get it fitting 100%

picks up all the air from behind the headlight and also just in near the radiator, noticeable difference in economy already with the car still learing the new setup but will know in a couple of weeks when i go to phillip island as the car hasnt been aver about 3k on the rpm yet. but economy has been as low as 9.2 and is sitting at 10.5 around town atm.will know after the computer has adjusted itself and it gets a bootful, no doubt it will have a slight improvement up higher in the rev range.will have to back it on the rollers one day soon and see how it goes.
