hey guys.
got an EL that wont crank.
when you put the ignition on, the smartlock light flashes 4 times, pauses, then 4 times again, pauses, then 4 times again, then flashes rapidly.
the engine does nothing when the key is engaged,
unless you leave the ignition on for 30 minutes.
then the smartlock light will glow solid red. and you can crank and start the car.
the smartlock light then goes away.
but if you leave the car, and go back to it and try and start it, it does exactly what i said at the start of this post.

CODES:
2 Wrong data received (1 or 2 codes wrong)
3 Wrong data (all 3 codes)
4 Electronic lock a** to BCM connector open, Electronic lock a** I/O circuit open, Electronic lock a** power supply circuit open.
5 Electronic lock a** clock circuit open, Electronic lock a** ground circuit open
6 starter motor safety circuit failure (inside BCM)
8 Lock data error. (all codes incorrect)

is that a barrel?
