Hey Guys I got an EF XR6 and have noticed that the oil pressure gauge fluctuates more than I'd like it to. I would be happy if my oil pressure sat around 5-6 but sometimes when the engine is at optimum temp it drops down to lower side of the gauge, I have change from Valvoline 5w-30 to Castrol magnatex 10w-40. any ideas ?

Also my diff has started to make, well sounds like a wheel bearing noise, but have had the bearings checked and changed so they are good. Should I just change the diff oil and live with it. Don't want to do long distance cause don't need it packing a sad in the middle of nowhere. use Nulon Limited Slip Differential Oil - 80W-140 and Nulon G70 Gearbox & Differential Treatment.

Last one any ideas on uploading photos, always get file tooo big.

HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP.

Thanks.

AFAIK the spec on the SOHC 6 is at least 250kPa @ 2000rpm. My car does that on idle. The lowering of oil pressure is normal as the car warms up.

Resize the photo or up load it to a photo sharing website such as photobucket and link the images.
