for a white on and off i've been working on customising my XR's taillights and boot garnish (fairmont) and this is what i've got so far

yeah i still need to glue the lenses on... i'm going to get some windscreen sealent tomorrow at lunch, glue em up then give it some time to set then i'll bolt em in on the weekend, i'll take some more pic's with em on the car... and post em up..

two thumbs up... make sure you whack them on your car asap.. opinions could change for better or worse depending on the visual look it brings to your ride.. other wise.. so far so good in the pics provided above...

like to see pics once u get around to fitting them,r the taillights pure white like the ebay ones as i followed an ea last week with them and they looked fowl didn't suit at all,but with your garnish to suit may look ok

no there not pure white the outer lens is a smoke color.. hence the inspration for the project as the clear/white ones look like s**t IMO...

mate they pure white do look s**t thats why i've seen afew second hands 4sale on ebay,but i recon your mod will look sweet,need to post on how ya did it.

i did the same as that with my NC lights and garnish, except i painted inside the light gloss black before fitting them back together.

Looks s**t loads better then the night shades s**t and dosen't look ricey as my car is black anyway

personally i would have lef tthe brake part red, just changed the indicator over. but looks good. looking forward t photos on the car

hi

ive got something close to what your got but the top of my garnish is still red and i removed the orange from the original tail lights..
