hey guys not to sure of this topic has been covered before i dont think it has..anyways is it possible to have an EF/EL XR6 front (just nose cone, eg; twinlights) but bolted to the fairmont or fairlane bottom half of the bar so that i can install fairlane cornering lights, just think it would look unreal with the XR front and mont/lane bottom half with the cornering lights, is it possible or am i dreaming cheers in advance

you would probably have to retro fit both the firlane and XR front bar together. As far as i am aware, there is no such pre made bar atm.

You can fit the whole XR bar up and can still fit the Fairlane Cornering lights in. All i did was slightly shave off a little so the lights fit in behind the bar.

I just have brackets to hold the lights in behind the front bar.

To answer your other question though; Yes if you wanted, you could have the top light surround from a XR plastic welded onto any falcon/fairlane front bar.

Anything is possible :)

Funny you should bring this up, because did you know that Ford's original design intent for the EF XR's was to use the EF Fairmont bonnet and grille with the twin lights intergrated into it all?

Would have looked bloody fabulous.

Its just Heritage Green.
