ok can someone tell me how to put the bumper on.
i got one from Phat Custom Kits and it does not have any holes or any where to mount anything to?
and my ute had a bullbar but i sold that and it doesn't have any brackets but i got some from the wreckers.
its for a XH falcon ute.

you need to use the original mounting spots and fittings or better bolts/nuts.
ie, -you use the vertical and horizontal original points on the side under the indicator
-And you use the mounting points from the top of the bar to the radiator support panel

*note only 1 of 3 scrivets can be re-fitted on each side to hold the guard lining on due to different shape

hope that helps, I think it makes sense lol, good luck

yeah i kinda get you but it doesn't have anything that would allow me to attach it to the rad support panel.
I will give ron a ring tomorrow.
i would say the problem is that my ute didn't have a bumper on before it had a big fu(k off bullbar and i don't know where the mounting points are and i don't have the nuts and bolts.

ahk, if you look on the top of the bar there should be two support bits that have a 90 degree bent up end, these are what ya use (once you drill holes in them), with bolts to secure the bumper to the panel. also there are two other circles on the top where holes normally would be, I didnt use them as they werent needed

ahk, i thought you had an xr lol. but the areas that youve circled is where it bolts to the car. Im unsure of the grille area though. the parts that youve circled has a horizontal bolt that monts it to the car under the indicator area (there should be a hole there about 6-8mm wide). for this one you mount the bumper and mark through that hole onto the bumper then remove bumper and drill the hole and try to fit the biggest thread diameter bolt possible (I think my holes are 10mm now).

The other mount is normally a screw through the bumper into the guard. I measured the distance of where this hole was from my old bumper and then drilled in the same spot on the new one and fitted a bolt instead of the screw.

My new bar also had two other mounts that protruded back to the radiator panel either side of the grille so to speak. Not being there to see how yours is made, I just suggest find a way to mount the top part (where the grille would normally be) to the support panel there, under the plastic trim :)

Thats alot of writing lol but its the best I can do I rekon, all else fails just get the crash repairers figure out whats best. Should look killa on the ute when painted;)

haha thought you'd ask. The crash repairers fitted mine. they used one screw in each, on the outer part and Sikaflex on the inner parts, where those two steps are.
