You can fit them but they will run through AUX function on the factory system only, giving you left and right audio only, no fade etc.

I have a single din HU installed where the tissue box holder goes. I doubt you will get a double din in there. It is connected through the aux connection. I am only using it for mp3's and DVD's, still using the factory radio.

Just get a single one. I installed mine last week - play dvd's through the factory screen with the help of a little convertor box. The picture quality is suprisingly awesome.

I use a 2.5 Inch HDD Divx/MP3 player. Holds too many songs to listen to in a trip but also has the bonus of playing video as well on a premium system!

If you have the factory colour screen you can get the /////ALPINE Factory Hub Interface then you can plug in anything you like eg: DVD, MP3, SAT NAV, Reverse Camera etc...
if no Factory Colour Screen you can upgrade this email: stephen@coastalcaraudio.com.au for more info on doing this !!! |

The space is too small for a double din, but a single din goes in nicely.
You will lose your steering wheel controls though if you install an aftermarket model.

Here's a piccy of mine - but I was lazy and got someone else to do the wiring install - above is right though, you do lose you're volume control on the steering wheel (but not the cruise) - I know he did run it off auxillary, and at first kept the front speakers hooked in to both head units, but that schitted me to tears - so I just changed the wiring on the speakers to run soley off the aftermarket unit... It also allows me to run the amp and sub now...
