Got more done on my car today than I've done in the last month...

It's in my shed and all the guards and stuff are just sitting there now..

I'm waiting on some bits, and if all goes according to plan.. I may well pull the old motor out over the long weekend and stick the SC one in.

You can't be hanging any more than I am...

Another thing I've learned from all this that I didn't know before, is that XR indicators have different shaped housings to normal falcon indicators (I thought the only diff was the clear pattern). so now I've left with looking for XR versions or modifying normal ones to suit. (rounding the front corner at the very least.)

ok... that doesn't look very hard.... will have to do for now as I don' have a spare 100 bucks floating around for a pair of Xr6 indicators at the moment. just want to get the bar mostly done so I can take it off and put it aside till after the rego and supercharger are done.

Thanks for your assistance mr ash

Spent all day working on the new car... gave both bodies the once over and decided the new one was far and away the better of the two..

Once that was decided I looked at the motors and found that the new one is in very good nick.. no significant cylinder difference in compression, no smoke, no blow back.. highish oil pressure.. and lumpy as hell to boot.

After making those decisions.. I ripped all the good bits out of the old EL (AU seats, door trims, center console and looms etc and put them in the new one.... looks a million times better now. (actually can't stop staring at the interior.. the two tone black and grey seems to work really well... dash, seats, carpet and roof all black.. door trims and scuff panels etc are grey.. as is the main part of the center console... the stereo surround and selector surround are both black. works really well.. will take photos tomorrow.

Still have to put the 18 inches on... had a look underneath and the car seems to have Lovells finest in there... don't think it's as low as I'd want it.. but we'll see... if it isn't.. I still have a full set of superlows here.

oh, found a shift kit for the auto floating around in the passanger kick panel...haven't tested it yet.

This new car speeds things up now as all I have to do is pull off the intake manifold and bolt the supercharger under it... no motor change etc... once the rego is handled.. I'll do exactly that.

good stuff.

Hi Mr XFpaul... I'm trying mate...

Actually, you are running gas too are you not? What changes does the M90 make to your gas setup?

Also, what PSI have you set you charger up with?

sorry for all the questions.. but I'm a firm believer in making use of knowledge when it's available to save myself trouble.

don't worry frankieh, you're not the only one in search for information! I'm interested in how much boost is being run as well, what might be the "safe" (engine integrity wise) limit

since you're bolting this onto the 'new engine'... it doesn't have any mods, just bolting it on stock? that'll be wicked lol!
