Hello All
I am getting my dual 2.5 inch exhaust replaced tomorrow with a dual 2.25 inch system, is it possible to have a single exhaust exit out both sides of the bumper, or does the fuel filler neck get in the way, or is there any other obstruction??

I have not seen any other AU's with songle side dualies..

cheers

Gav

I believe the issue is with the IRS rear end. Not much room to work with there.

I had the system installed, the IRS isn't the issue as the pipes go underneath it, it is the fuel tank is butted up against the rear bar.. unfortunatly..

i will post some as soon as i get my new camera phone, my old one fell in the Loo and died LOL.

My exhaust was made by Mt pritchard tyre and mufflers, it sounds great under throttle and doesn't drone, look sweet with twin black tips.

What difference have u felt between the twin 2.5inch and twin 2 1/4inch???

Also was this a custom setup or off the shelf system???

Well at the same time i fitted new Eliminator leads to rectify a bad miss, but the car feels alot smoother and power delivery is better off the mark, this was custom made, they had the car for the day, its has a nice growl to it, tho the 2.5 had a better off throttle burble to it, but i am very happy with this new system

i'm not sure what mufflers they used, there is a X pipe, i made sure of that.
it has2 mufflers then when the pipes come togethr on the one side they used to hotdogs under the rear bar.

How'd it all end up bud? I did the same thing in an EL but didn't use hotdogs. I wanted to add them for a bit of sound enhancement but there's not enough straight bits of pipe after the muffler to do it. Put up some pics.
