They fall in there!
Hell if I can fit the bloody V10 in my XG why the hell wouldn't any other modular fit in an engine bay that's 100mm wider!?

Get the Iron block Supercharged 4.6 '03 Cobra engine. You can get em for less than 12k brand new and they are so strong you can just keep putting bigger and bigger blowers or turbos on them without opening the engine!
This is the cheapest way to get 800+rwhp without hardly trying.

And Gav you're on the wrong site...you wan't www.f**k.com

hahaha go pete

not knowing my v8's that well

is that v10 of yours the same widtth as the 5.4's?

and damn those 4.6 motors sound like the way to go

i think he was looking at putting a v10 in his xe and said it they would go into a e-series without a fuss IIRC of course.

and on the side of putting in a LS1...

Pete you are right, who ever put that POS THING in that Falcon should be gutted and strung up alive because they don't deserve anything less, there should be laws against that sort of cruelty and stupidity to a Ford.

How big are the heads on the V10? Surely smaller than the DOHC BOSS heads.

I think the heads were a 2v iirc, still the same monster size as per most modulars..

They are smaller yes but the E-series engine bay is slightly wider across the shock towers than a BA so you're already in front there.

can anyone with a tape measure and a dohc boss motor go and measure the width. And someone measure the width on the eseries engine bay between the strut towers. Problem solved haha

i have seen a xe with a boss motor also when i asked this same question couple months ago for an xh... it seems the e-series are just about the only cars that havent hada boss motor jammed into em yet, but for what some of u guys are saying, sounds easier then carving up the x-series engine bays...
