The Borg warner 4 speed single rail in our XE has the following code on the side, can anyone intrepret it for me please:

Where did you get that number from??????......was it a cast on number?????
The numbers required are on a small plate thats bolted on.
It will have like a part number with a serial number. The prefix number will be 0503-XXXX.
The other manuals available were light duty ones, 0506-XXX and 0507-XXX....4sp and 5sp.

The number is a 'cast on' one, this number was below it on the main housing [E] [337K]

There is a tag on the output shft housing, but I am not sure if it is the original housing, but the number is 0503-066923, there was also another number 149-1-1
