just wondering what the different ratios have been from model, even right through to the T56. Then if we can get a complete list it can be made into a sticky.

You were wrong, that site backs up what we were saying.
You said the XR6s had the 2.95 first, and that boxes differed between XR and non XR.
They don't.
That site saying 3.23 vs 3.25 is probably a typo, seeing as they mention the diff being 3.25.
Pretty clear it's been transposed wrong.

thanks guys, now were getting somewhere. But what about the au tremec boxes, are they the same as the e series or the b series, or are they different again?

Also were all of the 5 speed ba turbo boxes a t5z?

I don't know what the AU ratios are.. maybe someone else does, but I have heard that it is the same box as the BA, you'd need to verify it tho.

All turbo BAs are T5Z (5speeds)
The V8s had TR3650s (5speeds)

Same as the E-series for both the I6 and V8. They're exactly the same as a T5 from the earlier models but with a longer rear extension housing. The centre casing has a tremec badge on it, the main shaft and extension housing are longer, otherwisr they're the same - all the other internal parts are interchangable.
