Iv recently bought some blue LED dash lights and iv put them in and 2 didnt work...
so i swapped them around still didnt work!!!so i went 2 you-pull-it got some new light socket things.and used them. still not working!! its really pissing me off. can anybody help?

Have you made sure you got them in correctly, don't forget leds, unlike globes, are polar sensitive, so you have to make sure you get positive/negative the right way around.
where are the two you put in that aren't working eg tacho etc.?

as OZBMX has said, LED=Diode=one way for the current to flow. Pull out the two that arent working and turn them around.

yer iv swaped it around...
i dnt got enough fingers to count lol. its the area that does the fuel and R.P.M but it lights up white while the other side3 which is replaced is blue...

hey ive had the same drama over the last couple of days .
make sure you carefully wrap the pins round the led case and bend the bottom pins up so they make good contact . they are polarity sensitive , you will need a multimeter neg on pin 7 top row solderside(so you can see the lights) positve on pin 8 top row. if it doesnt work spin it round if it still doesnt bend the pins and try both combos again. |
