Good luck to you. You can't tell from those pics, but they're finished in a vinyl that matches the texture of the dash, and is colour matched to the other pillar plastics. Vinyl was vacu-formed over the factory + fibreglassed modded pillar plastic.

very nice, was it hard to mount the fairlane rear seat in the wagon?
One bloody nice interior.
Also what's the thing thing in the cigarette lighter?

Lastly no offense but those speakers in the rear doors look really out of place.

Cheers for the comments, rear seat was just a bit of playing around with new bolts and spacers to make it line up, the thing in the cigarette lighter is my gas guage till the new motor goes in (didnt want to cut a hole in the dash or plastic)

haha nah no offence taken the speakers in rear doors i admit arnt that factory looking, i have the origional sportsman door trims still tho, there just fairmont ones i mocked up so can always change it back.
The sound in the back of a wagon from just 5/14" C pillar speakers with a sub in the back is crap, once the doors are shut you dont notice the grill and mount sticking out as much.
The last set of cadence speakers i had in there were really shallow magnets and flush with the trim but they blew up and there was only treble and a bit of mid range through em, thats when i kinda cracked it a bit and put the responce ones in.
will admit the sound quality is so much better with them there tho, not sure why ford didnt do something like the VT/X commos and have factory speakers in the rear doors and provisions for 6x9s on the shelf for premo sound?

Cause they sound like a** too. And 6x9's need to be killed with fire.

Yeah true but what standard el, au, ba falcon or commo speaker doesnt? at least if they cut the holes and throw a grill in, you can then play around with better stuff later.
