to use the nf stuff u will need to fit a fairlane floor loom so the fairlane door looms will plug in, which also means changing the plugs up front so the fairlane loom will fit to the ef futura loom as they're different, fairlane looms also have door ajar sensors and key lights and courtesy lights.

you are probably better off getting a ef fairmont floor loom and fairmont rear door looms so everything will plug straight in. the futura wiring doesnt have the 4 window switches wiring under the console or the wiring that runs to the rear doors

EL Futura's have the loom up to the door pillar adjacent the rear doors - pull the grommet and loom and check if the connectors in the cavity have the extra wires other than the central locking.
You may find you do, then all you need is the rear door looms.

my 97 el futura never had the loom running to the rear pillars, only the fronts. also the loom under the console wont fit the 4 door window master switch, its just wired for the 2 fronts

i converted mine to rear power windows 2 years ago

with the ea - ed falcons ive seen quite a few with the power window wiring under the console and they only had manual winders. havent seen a window main plug in the ef els yet, only fairmonts/fairlanes.

what i did was compare the differences between the XR/futura power window switch plug and the fairmont plug. iirc theres 4 extra wires. i follwed the wires to the rear door gromet/plugs. with a small screwdriver i pushed these pins out and added them to the plugs in the car. theres no soldering, its just a bit fiddly getting the pins out.

next the actual looms in the rear doors need to be changed to fairmont ones with the plugs for the windows and switches. just add regulators, switches and door trims.

Must be just mine then with the Fairmont loom to the rear. The harness had the main plug, with an adaptor plug to operate the two fronts - remove this and fit the main plug to the 4 switch unit.
