When i meant semi swap i mean like an au motor into a ef etc as in it Pretty much bolts straight in etc

The entire dash setup I've got a project to do a ef climate control dash into a box car like you have in the eb wagon

You need to read through my first build thread I think.

http://www.fordmods.com/commercial-sponsors-forum-f53/benj-s-eb-budget-buildup-t65386.html

I did this swap the first time in my Red EB Sedan, and it goes into more detail I think.

Cheers

And on another subject, this afternoon after work I got all energetic and pulled the dash out of the Wagon.

The heater box has now been removed, and will be replaced by an EB11 setup, which will work with the the EL A/C pump and related pipework.

The manual pedal box will also go in at this stage.

Hopefully the dash will be back in its rightful place tomorrow afternoon.

Cheers

Hi BenJ,

just noticed this part and wondered what differances there are between them [ie EB1/EB2/ED & EF/EL] will be using EL complete motor in the EB1 [but with EB2 wiring & controls] would i be betterer using the EL heater box instead of either EB heaters?

Thanks

My apologies, but the links no longer go to the correct page.

While I no longer own the EB Ghia, I have left this thread in place to help and provide some motivation to show what can be achieved at home in your driveway.

For newcomers to Fordmods this is the finished product.

All of my pics were hosted on Photobucket and they recently changed their terms and conditions, preventing linking to 3rd Party (any other) web sites.

You can elect to pay them $399 per year for the privilege, so my pics will remain held hostage.

I apologise for this, as it was my intention for this build thread to remain here as a resource for all E Series enthusiasts to refer to.

Cheers

Happening to everyone with over 2gb of photos on the bucket. Heaps of people have been affected by it. There are threads elsewhere (other forums) in regards to this issue. f**k sucks and heaps of people are getting screwed

you don't need over 2G of pics [my account has only 26% of that 2G] .... my email account recieved some emails from photobucket stating - your account has been restricted for excessive usage and 3rd party hosting! and as BenJ stated .... not spending $400 a year [gist of what he said]

Yeah if must be infectious, all these cloud storage sites now dropping free storage and putting up the prices, worries me about Google drive etc, I have become very lazy and use them for a lot of things.

It p****d me off when One drive dropped 10GB, that was a little bit more porn I couldn't backed up.

I wonder about my Asus 1TB account (500mb file size limit, can't even save one of the Pirates movies  ) it says about 100yr expiry but it has to be a typo.

Try using Imgur as your hosting site. I am currently using it and I am pretty sure there is no limit...in saying that I don't have that many images being linked.

Give it time, it just seems it is infectious and they all seem to be doing it.

Even easier way to prevent broken links, that really difficult link called "Add Attachment" just below message box

The reason I moved away from it (looks like the same thing has happened to my build) is because fordmods only accepts tiny photos... This was an easier way to upload images and be able to load high res images that people could definitely see what's going on... The fordmods uploading limits should have been increased probably 5 years ago but never have for at least the 10 years I've been here...

All that effort over the years is a mere waste of time now... :( and there's no point going back through and uploading the photo bucket images to fordmods because you just can't see them...

Cheers,
Tim

I am looking at IMGUR as an alternative.

But, going through 200 pages and editing all those photos isn't going to happen for threads re a car I no longer have.

I have more than enough build threads re my Scale RC rigs to correct.

Cheers
BenJ
