Iv'e had a good read through your build thread mate, your mods never cease to amaze me, it's inspiration for a couple of mods I got lined up . Out of curiosity did you get the EL handbrake to work properly or nah.
Cheers Kyle

Well, I have an update.
Last week I redid the wiring for the thermo fans as I had a couple of instances where they did not turn on as expected. While I was at it I also modded the the 'ABS Check' light in the NL Instrument Cluster to light up when ever the fans are on, as well as adding in a manual overide switch for the fans. And just in time too, as coming back from the airport along Parramatta Rd, the outside temp was showing as 47C. The car kept nice and cool. I took the Wagon for a spin up to the central coast to visit my good buddy Paulmac. While there I picked up a tool to remove the spigot bearing from the ED Engine. I had not taken the Wagon out on the road before, so I wanted to do a bit of an economy test with the LPG. I filled up the tank before leaving, and then refilled it after getting back. I am pleased to advise that the 240 kay round trip only cost $15 in LPG. Very happy with that. Over the weekend I finally got around to installing some driving lights I had picked up. These are more for show, but I am surprised at how much light they do actually put out. I wanted a slightly different look, and am very happy with the outcome. You may also note that the Wagon now has white number plates. These are from my Red EB, which is now just a distant memory. Cheers BenJ

whilst i can understand all the old pics wont fit is a bit of a frustration, its not such a big deal to resize future pics to suit the forum layout.
from what ive seen a 720 pixel width fits fine. Ive always resized my pics below this anyway, as i dont see the point of having the pic so big everyone can see every molecule of dust on the car. Theres a resizng program which intergrates with windows, or you can use others to batch resize like irfanview etc. |

yeahp- Agree Mr Mont. I do all mine at 600 width, and then put them all into a strip so that you actually see more images for your buck...
Here's the SHOUT OUT TO THE GEEKs from Benj. By combining the glow effects of Red, Green and Blue at equal levels he creates an intense white on the road and a point of difference at night. Unlike Police cars, by combining this system with a set of relays and switches Benj has timed it to his sub-woofer and hire's it out by the hour to raves, acid heads and childrens Christmas parties. Ben,
Are the lights more than 30cm apart from centre to centre( ie 15cm either side of the centre line of the vehicle). They need to be for ADR compliance. Just a thought Brett

Yay I can read your posts again Ben, not to mention everyone elses.
I made a suggesttion to Waggin about the Fordmods user gallery to be updated to have photobucket capibilities so you can get the image codes in the same way. He said he would consider it if enough people where interested what do you think Ben? Cheers Josh |

Fiend? Have you been at the RICE again mate? What did they lace it with? I mean, buddy, as if I would have a doof doof system and flashing lights in my car. That is what my custom water cooled PC is for. BenJ

Hey - If you look at Joshies Sig you will notice square versions of your Benj. Awesome. Didn't know about them having to be a foot or two apart for compliance issues --- But the coloured ones would have trouble passing simply because ships at night would get confused as to which side was port and starboard having green and red on each side in mirror image.
Sorry again Benj. I still say bring back the blue, or at least give me the option. EVERYONE in my house thinks the blue was better (maybe purely becuase they could tell when I was on "bloody FordNobs again...." )... . Attachment: cibenj.png .Hey - Waggin warned me to resize my signature or face firing squad, so I did eventually give in and have a signature of 119 x 499. All good brother... And I was serious when I said I like your lights, hope that came through... You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. |

Cheers Josh Whilst I think it is a good idea, I prefer to use Photobucket, as it allows non Fordmods members etc to view the pictures, as well as giving me the freedom to link to the pictures from where ever I want to. I have over 500 images that are car related alone, and if you multiply that by all the users of Fordmods, that is a serious amount of bandwidth. BenJ
