A "quick" list of what was done in the two days...
- All front suspension bushes replaced with a mix of Pedders and Nolathane... Every single one! 8-)
- Nolathane castor/camber kit
- Upper and lower ball joints
- New brake pads
- Machined rotors
- New wheel bearings
- New RHS engine mount
- Everything inside the wheel arch removed, cleaned and spray painted gloss black :D
- Twin horns fitted

I think that's it...

Car is already driving SO much better... :D A new steering rack is in the mix in the coming weeks. That is after we give the rear end the full bush treatment as well...

Then later on down the track, after I get the outside and interior sorted, I'll be grabbing some heavy duty sway bars (if I can be stuffed)

Their technical name is the Super Brake Line Squasher Thingy ma' Jig 2000 :D

Sillyness aside... Not sure of technical name... it was Matt's toy... Got it from Repco for $20ish

If you look at the caliper in the pic with the brake line clamp on the hose.
You might notice the bleed nipple has been removed for cleaning the dirt out of it.

so im taking it you get someone to apply pressure to the brake system when you remove the clamp or do you do the nipple up and bleed the system?

my lane has ABS and ever since some air got in the line its never been the same, even the shop didnt bleed the ABS unit as there is still dirt over the nipples on the unit... even tho i told them it has ABS and there is an issue braking... locks front left wheel up

I booked my two front seats in to get the blue inserts swapped out for a blue that matches my interior colour.

He's also putting an extra inch of softer padding under the material for me.

$250 for the pair to get done... cheap me thinks...

I've been tinkering with the interior over the last two days fixing up little things. Since I posted pics last I've...

- Installed and wired up a roof screen
- Installed a Fairmont Ghia stereo surround (long overdue)
- Carpeted the rear parcel shelf
- Mounted a little Soundstream amp on the parcel shelf that powers the boot speakers and lights up when the boot is open.
- Test fitted a pair of blue neons in the front footwells. They still need to be hard wired into the courtesy light circuit as they're just running off the cig lighter at the moment.
- Painted a few odds and ends

I'm hoping to enter the car into the SA All Ford Day in March for the first time so I'm trying to get her up to scratch.

nice amp.. tho it would look better dropped into the parcel shelf. aldo its not central on the shelf when you compare it to the brake light 8-)

I'm planning on pulling it out and painting the majority of the silver area in the same K1 Gunmetal Grey as the outside of the car and just leaving the silver spider and blue ring

It's only really sitting there as I've got no where else to put it

I might get ambitious with the parcel shelf one day but that day is not today... Looks alright for now
