Hi all, this is the first time I've had a car I want to put up In the garage section, so here it is.

As you can tell its stock as a rock.

The good parts are that its the V8 on gas with the tank in date untill 2020
body work is mostly good.

I figured it would be a good platform for modding, Its going to need it.

the bad parts-after driving it home from the bloke I got it off I discovered it likes to back-fire mainly when turning (going to change plugs to see if that helps)

leaks oil from somewhere at the front of the motor the ac is covered in it

idles on 7 (again I'm thinking plugs)

breaks need bleeding badly (any tips so I dont stuff the abs?)

c/c is not working and I cant hear the door moving

console is sundamaged

Rust in the sill pannel under the drivers door

Thats all I can think of at the moment so I'm going to be busy fixing all that up and getting the thing right :D

more pics this weekend I just bought the beast on saturday

Welcome to Fordmods.

You are doing the right thing by fixing all known issues first.

Then, once you know it is reliable and safe, start on making it your own.

I look forward to seeing what you choose to do and how far you end up going with it.

Cheers
BenJ

I'm not going too far after all issues are fixed, Im thinking 1.5 - 2 inces lower with progressive springs, clean the rims up they have gutter rash, door lights like in the tech doco, 330mm breaks if I can find any info on how to do so, dl leather powered seats, leather rear el leater shifter, zorst, and engine detail(need the V8 cover for the engine)

I just want a nice, comfortable, cruiser thats going to be safe for me the missus and most important the two little ones.

I also have a mr30 datsun skyline and an Au3 the skyline needs way too much work and the AU3's immobiliser locked it up was quoted $500 for parts and programing on the falcon so decided I wanted to move up to a V8 cruiser and the NC has less K's than the AU3

Love your builds by the way
