As Some of u guys Know the Eseries falcons do not support live data and flash tuning via the d(agnostics port.
The AU falcons do via the DCL pins on the ecu.. Ford started to implement this in the early 90s...eecv ecus support this... Now has anyone thought of connecting up to this data bus on the ef and els? If this was possible it would make diagnostics so much easier..as all we currently have is the 2 and 3 digit flash codes.. Imagine being able to see what each sensor is reading as well as things like fuel trim using a cheap scan tool..

You can view this through the instrument cluster diagnostic mode, obviously though, you can't view it all at the same time.
Stockstandard was working on software from a laptop to do this - I was one of his testing group, although he disappeared during this, so it wasn't finished. Dang was working on the dataline with the Trip Computer (same as cluster) - not finished also. That's as far as I can remember of all of this stuff.

Good news to here snap..
Yeah that is the backup plan... The cluster and trip computer are on the DOL bus...which ive been told is similar to the the DCL bus... Ive had a play with the cluster and there are 16 modes..not much in the way of of sensor data but...there are a few modes that have not been deciphered there may be hopefully be something extra in there...
