Can someone please assist with this problem!
My 6 cylendar 3.9 litre MPI Fairmont Ghia stalls.
Once the car is restarted it behaves as though nothing has happened.
In the last week we have changed the dizzy, coil, leads and plugs but the problem still exists.
I have run the diagnostics while the car is stalling and the codes show normal.
The previous owner has installed a "chiptorque" chip. Has anyone had any problems with these?

Hi mate.


remove the fuel relay and ecu relay and give the terminals a good clean.

These relays are located near the battery. one is black and the other green.

If that dont fix it.

Get a can of carby cleaner and clean the throttle body and isc motor.
If after all this the problem persists, then you most probably have either a fuel filter blocked, or a crook fuel pump.
