Just a quick question,
I want to know what the part number is on the EF XR6 ECU, in comparasin to the futura one.
For some wierd resaon, when I floor my EF, the XR6 ECU makes the car shift at ~5000 rpm. The original Futura ECU would hold the revs all the way to ~5,500 :? Does this sound right??
I toook the new ECU out of a EF2 XR6, which is why I want to know the correct part number.
I am 90% sure that it is a genuine Tickford ECU, as there is no speed limiter (my Futura one has it), and the Tickford one is more willing to kick-down.
As I have said, I just want to know the part numbers, just to make sure
Cheers
Chris

Futura will start with 96DA and the Tickford will start with 96DT (96 may be 94 for early EF's)
