no not again :(

go to 6 cylinder area and look at the sticky's at the top.

cheap mods:

exhaust is the first, around $1000 for extractors, cat and 2.5in system
cam would be next at around $400-500 for regrind with springs and vernier gear. you could do cam first but engine will be held back by s**t log looking manifold
pod filter, new airbox etc is cheap but adds sweet f**k all performance unless your current filter is dirty as a $2 peep show. if you feel so inclined retain factory airbox and get high flow panel filter and 3in mandrel bent intake piping

And if you had read the stickies or maybe even searched you would have seen that this question has been asked and answered dozens of times before.

My suggestion is to read the stickies as well. They have lots of useful information about what works, what doesn't, and how much its all going to cost you.

some styles of electric s/chargers will decrease your power due to the fact that they impede airflow into the engine.

I saw one website that did tests and to get an electric s/charger to produce 1 bar boost, it needed 1000 volts. so for all intents and purposes they arn't any good for engines that require large amounts of air. A 250 cc might benefit from a well designed one, but the mass of air required by a 4.0lt? Its too much and the fans end up becmoing a blockage. Either that or the blades snap off under pressure and become lunch in your cylinders.

i would if they were given to me but as far as i understand it, it is a constant rate no variation from a supercharger or turbo to drops and rasies with rpms etc etc

whats so special bout an xr-t??? Mate Ive raced a manual NA XR-6 in my old wagon and pumped it by more then 2 car lengths to 100K's.

XR-6 TURBO HAS beaten me by about 3 lengths to 100, mate they are nothing.
I hate commo's but my mate has a VUSS with a 22 psi vortech under the bonnet. this = 426rwkw. thats fun and you know what, i dont have to pay him...lol)
