I'm getting 550ks a tank...we'll see now that the extractors have been installed.

Cam is next saturday so that'll bring it down a bit.

I don't flog my car too hard though so we'll see....

New figures with higher CR on the engine (9.5:1) and XR6 cam, 14 deg BTDC timing and 5spd manual gearbox (EL fairmont)

Highway at 90km/h 6.5L/100km
Highway at 110km/h 7.5L/100km
City suburban babying the engine, gearshifts under 2000rpm 9.5L/100km
City stop-start, wide open throttle from every set of lights, 5000RPM gearchanges 12.6L/100km

These are the figures from the trip computer which still thinks the engine is on petrol, its currently inhaling LPG so if we add around 25% (for the extra LPG used compared to petrol) to those numbers, its quite accurate since 62 litres of LPG gave me 750km on the highway at 90km/h on cruise control.

Still trying to better it, considering a slightly taller diff from the 3.23 in there at the moment, probably a 3.08 but I'm concerned about the car getting a lot slower. As it stands, it *just* beats a 195kw V8 auto commodore to 100km/h by about half a car length.

on ITS performance package - Stage 4 lower end and Stage 3 (PS) headwork, 5 speed box with 3.08 diff, race headers and 2.5 exhaust on standard intake setup.

City - 10.4l per 100 averaged (shifts at 1800rpm, neutral cruise down hills and 80km 5th cruise where possible from early morning starts and peak-hour return journey 110km round trip)

City - 11.5 per 100 (same trip- way more pro-actively)

Freeway - 7.8l per 100 on cruise control 110kph, at 120kph in 5th on cruise seems to be a sweet-spot (5-6l per 100 on level road).

Stockish EL Ghia....only exhuast buts its nothing special.

I get about 410kms city driving out of a tank. Not much more when its running ULP.

Seems a bit low comparing to everyone else....and I don't drive hard all the time!

Hmm

I travelled to Wagga before Christmas and got about 620 on a full tank before filling up to come back to Sydney. Normally I get about 480 in the city travelling to and from work.

Seems to be OK for a 6 cylinder 3.9 litre motor. :D :D

Ive now gone thru a few tanks of mobil synergy 8000, gotta say i like it, getting more kms and performance seems on par with optimax!
This tank i should pull about 480kms of city driving, bloody good i rekon considering how i was driving most of last night.
