My LPG convertor packed up xmas eve and I have been running around on petrol since then, I removed the mixer from the intake so I could do a comparative running cost test around town. This should give a good comparison for those thinking of installing LPG on I6 falcons.
After one tank the comparision is 430k's from 55 liters in petrol compared to what is normally 380ks from 66 Liters in LPG.
Doing the sums this works out at around 12.8 l /100ks on petrol and 17.4 on LPG. The cost per 100k's is $14.60/100k's on Petrol and $8.40 on LPG.
There is a significant power advantage without the mixer installed but overall I can't wait to get back on LPG.
