Was wondering wether a el2/au sedan fuel pump carrier fits a ea-el1 sedan fuel tank because they look to be same. You’ll have to change plug but would it otherwise fit and work.

Reason for wondering is because if one fits the ea-el1 tank thinking of trying it instead of the ea-el1 carrier next time the fuel pump needs to come out because you can buy the whole carrier already set up ready to go.

What do you do about having the push on hose and clamp like the older cars because think the el2 carrier has the quick disconnect and wondered how you could convert to push on hose and clamp.

What would you’s do out of fitting the el2/au fuel pump module which you can buy already done or try save the original metal module.

which is better quality out of the metal and plastic are plastic as good as metal, the parts for the metal ones would be pretty hard to find now.

Would the sender on the el/au holder work with pre el2 dash
