Depends on how far you're planning on going with your mods. If you plan on keeping it pretty sedate, keep an eye out for EL GT headers. They came out on the series 2 EL XR8s and generally go for around $400 - $500 a set. Less if you're lucky.

If you plan on doing a head/cam/intake swap or similar mods up to around 300 or so rwhp, a set of Pacemaker tri-ys would be a good option.

If you plan on making more power than that, a set of DeFillipos would be the go.

My bro-in-law got 134rwkw in his dead stock (except for three inch exhaust) ex HWP EF XR8 with no extractors, might give you a figure to start with. It has over 300,000 k's on it too.

You'd probably be looking in the region of 130 - 140rwkw. What size exhaust is/going on it?

Chop the front of the lower part of the airbox out as well, so you're getting the cool air in from behind the lights

Im not exactly sure of the size but it looks like a twin 21/2"inch then merges into a 3"inch. Has a good note even widout extractors. Yer im chopping out the front bottom of the airbox when i service it this week hopefully. I think with the dyno ill be going on might pull 120-130rwkw( Its quite a low scoring dyno)

It should pull considerably more than it did before. The throttle response and pull is amazing compared to before

Service done. I also cut a hole out of air box and am soon gonna drill some holes in the mimick vents, also me and my dad are gonna give the whole car a proffesional buff and polish so will post some pics up off car. Also my idle is a lil funny, it sits alot higher wen cold(i presume normal) but one warm it will idle at bout 600rpm and sounds like it has a really mild cam upgrade???
