under construction is my xg xr6 ute though i would start a tread as i will be building this ute up as been wanting to do a genuine xr ute with the round headlights and front bar blinkers

looking at throwing in an el xr6 tickford light worked motor with t5speed box pedal conversion wiring etc should be fun

recondition diff as lsd maybe reshim depending on cost but motor and paint will be first

throwing on a ba xr8 ute rear tub side skirts rearbar customised to fit with towbar(looks like ill be fibreglassing for days on this one)

either hard top lid with gt wing or maybe canopy still to source these parts again cost wi$$$e will determine the finish product

paint will either be candy green with light lower airbrush flames (got a mate who will be doing me a favour should be intersting once i finish the body work)

interior either re-trim the xr seats or replace with fairmont ghia bucket seats and door trims, might look at changing dash to dl ltd dash or re-trim with fake leather(pleather its called not cowhide)

more..................to come will take a while to do pics and post over a period of time ,luck me though i have eb ed el ef au ba ford modelss spare parts cars make my project happen looking at spending $6000 all up paint, body engine work will take most of it time is the factor though

here is some rough pics
