The chrome trim on my eb fairmont has started to look like crap so I have ordered in some new stuff.

Now I have no idea how this stuff is held on and how you replace it?

I asume it just peels off and the new stuff will stick on? Does anyone have any advice.

Thanks

IIRC the EA-ED chrome on the door moulding is part of the moulding and cannot be replaced.

The little piece on the guard? Isn't it the same as the door moulding?

You have to replace the whole moulding. Unfortunately they are no longer made for most of the older E series, so finding them is difficult. A mate has replaced all but 1 on his NC, can't get a LH rear door moulding anywhere.

Yes you could use the later model mouldings, it would be a very expensive option though, several hundred dollars for all the trims

The trim for the front bumper cost $22

I was hoping I would also be able to use it on the sides. But ah well. Will check out the wreckers.
