ok just a little update been a while since ive let yas know wat i was up to, i sold my gunmetal gray el and got rid of my red EL futura, and i bought a 92 model toyota hilux surf 2.4td instead, i made this decision after i lost my lisence for speeding and thort a big 4x4 is hard to speed in lol, but am buying a EL fairmont ghia soon leaving it all completely stock looks besides for a slight height adjustment lol, then im getting a stage 3 turbo kit from snort performance just to satisfy my turbo fetish lol, i still have my AU XR8 REBEL.

dude, the plastic guard around the power steering pump is restricting cold air flow that the thermo fans are generating. If you take that off you will get better intake temps.

No offence but that is a fail. Too close to the exhaust manifold, would warm up like nothing else... really no heat sheild...

how long u rekn the air is in the pipe for? Plus its made out of alloy which dnt get that hot

Least its non restrictive looks gud and has cold air getting to the filter thru the xr vent

I don't want to get in a debate, but alloy does get hot, given it would be f**k all but sorta counter productive if you have a nicely boxed pod. But why no heat sheild...

Your centre join is resting on the rocker cover too, absorbing heat from that as well. It doesnt matter how long the air is in the tube, by the time it reaches the throttle body, its going to be hotter than air outside the car.

If you used the same pieces of pipe and directed them to the normal airbox (if the angles are right), It would then look Sweet and be more functional than in its current position.

replaced the pressure switch on my power steering 2day yay it holds fluid agen

I think its a tad odd how ppl bag out the one bad thing in my engine bay yet fail to recognise how much i have changed it
Ie- battery relocation, cleaned up wiring, respray, and the xr6 engine

Then wen my cash flow is healthy the turbo kit
i had everything but the manifold at one stage even aftermarket ecu ect but due to P-Plates i decided against it
