Hi all,
as some of you know, I've done the NL dash conversion. I've got the climate control etc etc. I thought I was very thorough during the conversion, but obviously not enough. I finally got around to getting a mate to fill the system with gas. Push the A/C button on climate control panel, and compressor wont engage. No voltage on the blue wire. At the time, we just shorted it to get gas into the system - it took the gas, and air con blows very cold - So that bit is good... Now, why won't my compressor turn on using the panel? Whats the best way to check the TX valve? Failing that, I'm assuming thermostat/thermistor? Is this the bulb inside the heaterbox? I'm trying to remember it - I can't remember too much detail about it, or where it plug into. Is it a part of a bigger loom plug? confused atm. Is there anything else I'm missing, as the car has the full NL climate now? Anything that could be wrong with the control panel? Any help muchly appreciated!!

Does the CC unit come up with any fault codes ??
TX valve is working reasonably if the system gets cold - it is mechanical. ECU should be engaging the A/C comp clutch - check the wiring.

Thanks Snap,
Ok, yeah it def cold - just no voltage at compressor. So your saying if its cold when I short the compressor, that both the TX valve and Thermister are good? I might have to check voltage at ECU... Now to find what pin it is!!
