hi guys,
on my AU2 futura with the basic heater controls, the aircon goes on when i turn on the fan regardless of whether the A/C button is pressed on or off. it just stays on (even if the light on the A/C turns off). any ideas on this one? cheers, adam |

Disconect the switch. It may be stuck in the on position maybe??

does it do it on all fan settings or just full blast on the fan? if i recall the fan on full blast makes certain settings on the aircon system turn on/off automatically, cant recall what the settings are though.

could be the AC fan speed controller that sits behind the glove box. I've had this fail on my car, albeit, climate control and not the stock AC system. the result was the fan was on all the time, even when the car was turn off and key not in the ignition.
But as mentioned, remove your glove box, in the intake there should be the ac control board. this could be stuffed or blocked with leaves. Worth a look, only takes 10 minutes to remove and replace.
