Hi, I have a ford NA fairlane. It has automatic climate control. The outside temperature sensor has started reporting garbage data. It is showing outside temp as 10*c regardless of the temperature. I have contacted a number of suppliers including ford and no one has compatible sensors nor can anyone including auto electricians and apparently people who rebuild these items tell me anything about the ohm value of the sensor so I can construct one myself.

I am getting to the point where I am thinking of booking the car In to ford and making them fix it.

Does anyone know where to get this sensor or a compatible sensor or even the information on how to build one.

Regards

on the fairlane it is mounted directly to the front of the hood latch on the under side. it should be a small cylinder shaped device.
