I just got a au2 and the airbag light stays on all the time??? Dose anyone know what it means and what little sensors/fuses I could check? The horn and cruse control buttons on the steering don't work either. Could that be a start point?

There is a coiled cable going to the steering wheel called the " clock spring " and they are a common failure point. It may be a loose plug, but most likely not. It is the only common point between the circuits that are not working.

when I got my ute the airbag light was on to. later inspection discovered someone had butchered the seatbelt pre-tensioner wires under the drivers seat. Easy fix, I would start there then check the clockspring.

If you know anyone with an elm device you can read air bag fault codes with a lap top.

when starting the car the airbag light should flash out the number of the code. for example 3 quick flashes then a small gap and four quick flashes is error code 34. after its done this a few times over it stays on solid. some one on here may then be able to look up that fault code for you
