Hi all.
Have a couple of questions for you electrical gurus. Car is a 2004 BA XR8 UTE

1. How do i add the auto headlight feature? Is it as simple as adding the auto headlight stalk?

2. How do i add the auto drivers window like the sedans? Can i change the switch to an auto switch?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks

Very doubtful... It is integrated into the BEM somehow and would require the BEM to be changed and possibly wiring added to make it function... I doubt early BA would have had wiring for it... To change the BEM it will require programming at Ford

I would have thought they all had auto down? If not I would say it would be contained within the master switch and replacing it should give auto down drivers window...

Appreciate your help.

Thanks

Thanks for that buddy. It seems the window switches are only in sedans. The utes have the basic switches- no auto function. Can i pull the switch from any sedan?

As for the auto lights i have a 2004 workmate falcon ute and it has auto lights. Dont see why the xr8 doesnt have it especially since they are the same year. Maybe someone has switched the stalk out before with a non-auto stalk.
