anyone able to tell me what type/size globe i need replace the cigarette lighter & the gearshift quadrant lights with?. want to change to led style.

Thanks Hi mad2 the globes in the cigarette lighter and the quadrant are T5's, if you or anyone else has never fitted one to the lighter socket it will likely be tapped back up to the loom

 Also let me know how you end up getting to the globe in the shifter. Been told its a prick.

Been told its a prick. welllll . . . . .... to get to it it's either totally remove the console [which is a pain with the seats in the way!] or undo everything & slide the console back far enuf so you can get to the screws that hold down the silver shifter cover. to remove console there are the two screws either side of the cig lighter, then four tec screws holding console to the shifter cover. then two screws holding shifter cover to the shifter support bracket. plus the two tec screws holding the console base at the rear. you also have to remove the side console pieces [upper] to get to the cig screws. if you want pics of it ... let me know. seats aren't back in properly yet so i can remove etc etc easily. Thanks fellas Ps. bolts holding handbrake also need to be removed! |
