Howdy!
I just bought a set of the cool chrome altezza style tail lights for my BA XR6, looks nice. I've noticed however, when the parker lights are on, both filaments on the brake globe light up. This happens with the standard set of lights as well after I did some testing. Another thing I noticed is when the brake is applied, the filaments get brighter.... I thought the second filament was only supposed to light up when the brake was applied? I haven't tested it at night time, so I don't know how dramatic the difference is. I've had the car for like 6 months now and no one has said anything so if it's not working properly Seems a little strange is all! - but I'm no auto electrician lol |

are the globes in back to front? from memory there should be offset side pins on them

Nope... I did notice the offset pins... they are around the right way.
Maybe it's normal :/ I'll have to test it in the night to see if there's much difference. I had to look directly at the filaments to tell what they were doing during the day (outside of the taillight assembly). |

filaments of globes should come on seperate -most likely earth fault causing back feed run seperate earth to side of globe on both sides to confirm
