Hello,
Is the Code in the owners manual ? I thought they were on a card inside the manual. The Dealer wants to charge me to pull the radio out to get the ser. number to look it up.

Code should be on the label inside the back cover of the service log.
If not, contact Ford with the vin number of the vehicle and they will be able to supply the code for the radio as long as it is the original unit fitted when the car left the factory. |

Verify BF not EF ??
BF has no code requires ICC to be programmed with ford scantool to match ecu and bem programming - if code is showing ignition and radio on, normally will start to operate after 30 sec or so if ICC has already been programmed to vehicle and has no faults - -can loose it's mind sometimes and require reprogramming eg.disconnecting battery can cause this SOMETIMES - if ICC is changed requires ford scan tool to program have you checked fuses ? NOTE - Dealer wants to charge me to pull the radio out to get the ser. number to look it up. - find another dealer !! |

Hello,
Thanks for the replies, it is a 2007 BF. There is no Code in the owners manual, so I wanted to find out for when I need to replace the battery. The earlier Falcons had a card you could put somewhere safe with the Code, with the value of the standard stereo these days it isnt worth it.
