That makes stuff all difference...
A fuse blows when too much current flows through it... Nothing else will cause a fuse to blow... Check your resistance from the load pin of the fuse to earth and get some idea of circuit resistance... I=V/R so you'll soon work out the current for the circuit from that... Get yourself a manual for your EF and see where the wiring goes in the car and start pulling stuff to bits to find out where it could have shorted to the body... Alternatively unplug things that are powered off that fuse (factory manual will again tell you this) until you see the low resistance go away... If it disappears the item you unplugged from the loom is internally faulty... If it doesn't then you're back to the wiring shorting out... Cheers, Tim

So give us a summary - symptoms, when the fuse blows, and what you've done/not done to faultfind it. Just telling us you've a problem, and leaving us to guess it, doesn't cut it unfortunately.

Ok as soon as i try put a fuse in it blows, now i tried disconnecting all the actuaters, the bcm and all the buttons that control the lock and fuel door release and it stills blows. Ive tried chasing wires back but where i thought it might be rubbing through it hasnt.

There should be a plug behind the drivers kick panel should see the yellow wires on it, one should be reasonably thick, disconnect plug and see if fuse still blows.
This should isolate the line to the rear.

I ad this prob with my fairlane it was where the wires go through the b pillar to go to the rear locks. There is a plug hidden in b pillar to get to them pull rubber gromet off b pillar and you can then pull wiring and plug out. One of mine had somehow melted causing a short.
Hope this helps |
