Brown ECU relay under the water overflow tank in the EL's can they go any time? cause be having problems with the car just cutting out. when it did cut out it would start straight back up again and now it doesn't start at all. ive replace the tfi module and coil about a month ago but Im not if if could be the dizzy play up or not.

Like all relays, they can go at any time. Also, considering the age of the relay ( if its the factory one) it may be possible. If you can get your hands on one from a mate or a cheap wrecker one just to rule it out it cant hurt.
Problem is, the problems your having could be a multitude of things causing it. The relay might just be one to scrap off the list. I dont know how to test the relays, but I am sure there is a tech doc on here somewhere about it. That might be a go to.

the fuel pump relay the green one next to it ,if the fuel pump is priming when your ign is in on pos then that relay the brown ecu one is ok, I think you might have to check it while cranking motor as well..
