yes u can, usually is held on by two small phillips screws, be sure to apply some new heat transfer paste two the new tfi module.
up to you, but if its because your car is turning itself off after while driving it, this is what my el did, your better off just buying the whole dizzy as they come with the tfi module already on it, distributers only usually last around 100k anyway.

not hard at all, just need to match up the markings so its on the finish or start (i can't rememeber) when the motor is on TDC on the compression stroke.

exactly right sommers.

set the engine to TDC on comp stroke, line up the dizzy to the start point, push the dizzy down while holding it, it should engine up with the rotor facing the finish mark.

Im bout to do this this weekend to try and get rid of a miss :(

Can someone tell me if I can replace the TFI module on a V8 without taking the dizzy out?

Cheers.
