hey guys, got a complicated problem here the back left actuator in our ba ghia stuffed up a few months ago which turned out to be the worm gear inside. So we bought the reco kit with the new gear off ebay, installed it no worries but now the problem is a lot worse.

The mechanical side of the actuator is seizing somehow, whenever we lock/unlock the car the door either jams itself shut (both handles wont budge) or it doesn't "catch" on the lock. The actuator motor (with the new worm gear i fitted) seems to the cause, it's seizing the mechanical side of the actuator every time it's operated. I've taken it all apart and the gear looks installed ok but something must be wrong here, the motor stuffs the lock up every time it's activated. Has anyone had the same problem? I was hoping once I fitted the new gear there wouldn't be any more dramas haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

put a whole new actuator in it.
