hi guys the mitsubishi alternator on my eb is old and worn out but i have a bosch alternator(out of my old ea) in good condition i know the wiring connectors are different but is it possible to put the bosch one in?

Mounting brackets are the same so I don't see why not? You may have to change the belt as well.

I think ive been down this road. Let me know how you go but i dont think its a direct fit in regards to the belts lining up. I may be wrong.

it seems i need the ea bracket because the fan on the ea alternator hits the eb bracket ill have to have a look for it

Just thought i'd update you guys i finally got the bosch alternator in and working i just needed the alternator bracket out of an ea which i had laying around so its all good now
