Hey all,
at our workshop we have just done an evaporator replacement on an ED falcon and it obvioulsy ran into the workshop fine, Pulled the dash out and removed the aircon box assy replaced the evap and then re put it all back together as it came out we did not remove the engine ECU but obviously had to dissconect the BCM and Smartlock the battery was disconected the entire time and put on charge the car turns over but does not start, it comes up with a brake warning while its cranking over there is no spark to the plugs, the fuel pump is working have not checked the injectors for pulse yet it is possible we have not plugged something back in but when it came out not every plug was being used there is an 8 pin plug with about 5 wires in it by the glove box that i cant see where it could connect up too, any ideas? i think we may have to pull the dash back out to check it all, but is there any main connections to check / bypass to get running?? cheers for your time

check to make sure you have reconnected the ground for the dash, when i pulled mine out to put the manual pedal box in i forgot that ground, the motor would crank but no start...also the BCM ( the thing above the drivers left hand knee kick pannel ) made a clicking sound....

Ok, doesn't sound like it's causing the issue then.
Have all the fuse links near the battery been tested? Cheers ToranaGuy

REPLY when something gets fixed ....... after a chat with the apprentice, we came to the conclusion that he may have got some plugs mixed up after checking the TFI unit for power with the key on after pulling the dash 1/4 the way off we noticed a black plug in a white connector and a white plug in a black connector .... Black being the A/C thermister's and White ... being ECU power quick switcharooo and BAM fired up like a champ
