Hi could any one shed some light on this problem for me.
I have an xr8 sprint that has been sheded for a few years and not started.

I put some fresh fuel in it and got it going but it's running very rough, blowing a ton of black smoke. I do realise that could one of many things that I may have to work through however I have tried to do a self diognostic with an led test light and all I am getting is a constant light, no flashes. Before asking how I am doing the test, I'm following instructions found on the net.

I am bridging the first terminal top left with the first terminal Botton left and connecting the led from the 5th position in from the top left to the 12v supply on the bottom far right.

Any help would be appreciated.
