I have just installed the xr front end onto my fairmont but when I turn headlights on the lows work than when I put hi beams on they work but the lows turn off. All of them are suppose to be lighting up but there not??

Can any one suggest a reason to why it's doing this? Don't want to put front bar on than have to take it off again.

Could it have something to do with the bcm??

I have an XR and all the lights are on when on high beam. I would check BCM and that all the wiring is ok.

From memory you have to change the headlight relay, unless thats just for boxcars.

Maybe the tech doco on here covers it, otherwise try a google.

EF/EL Fairmont to XR just needs the shorting link from memory. If you look at a gregories wiring diagram, it does show the difference.

Easy mod though.

Pretty sure you just need to swap the low beam relay to a blue 5-pin one.
The required wiring is already there.
