my horn does not work when you push steering wheel. tested horn with live wire and that works, horn also works when you leave doors open and lock them with remote.

Have you got power at the horn contacts at the steering wheel.

nothing when I put the test light to them, but just assumed that they were ground wires.

Unplugged the clock spring and proved continuity through all 5 wires? (or at least the 3 for horn and cruise)?
Cheers, Tim

Yep and check the plug under the dash which has the horn wires in it (not the airbag plug) and one should have power with a test light... And one should have continuity to ground... Check that... One of these things has to be missing...
Cheers, Tim

Power comes from a fuse somewhere... Into the coil of that relay you found under the bonnet... Out of that coil and into the steering wheel... The steering wheel horn pad then joins that power wire to ground completing the circuit for the relay to pull in...
Also one of the contact wires of that relay should have power and the other will run to the horn itself... Have you indeed check all the fuses under the dash? With a test light or multimeter... Not by eye...? But yeah go with that first actually... check the horn fuse... Then check the coil pins in the relay (can't remember the numbers now but if you can read the drawing on the side of the relay it'll say)... One should have power... If you fit a good relay (known to be working) It should then provide power to the plug under the dash... and shorting that to ground makes that part... So chase that power wire around... See how you go anyway... Cheers, Tim
